If your discomfort is repeatable, a bike fit is usually more useful than guessing with parts.
A fit is a good idea when
- pain shows up in the same place repeatedly
- you just bought a new bike and the position feels wrong
- you are considering expensive cockpit or saddle changes
- you want a faster answer than months of trial and error
You may not need one immediately when
- the issue came from one unusually long ride
- the bike is new to you and you have not documented the current setup yet
- a basic saddle or bar adjustment clearly solves the problem
